Petition calls for improvements to the A49

A petition calling for improvements to be made on the A49 following a number of road accidents is to be officially handed over by concerned north Shropshire residents today.
More than 100 people in Prees Green, near Whitchurch have signed the petition wanting measures including speed limits to be reduced.
Residents were due to present the petition to Shropshire Councillor Paul Wynn today along with a letter detailing all the accidents on the stretch of road.

I wonder if this “letter detailing all the accidents” on this stretch of road are detailed, empirical, and accurately note the primary causal factor in each accident?
The following link seems to indicate that Prees Green is a pretty safe area to drive through:
