Telford Southwater next phase approved

Plans to create a main street and square as part of the next phase of the £250million Southwater development in Telford have been approved.
The application was backed by Telford & Wrekin Council’s plans board last night.
The scheme, bringing shops, bars, cafes and hundreds of homes to the town centre, is expected to create more than 2,000 jobs.
