Wales says yes to more powers for the assembly

Wales has said a resounding Yes in the referendum on direct law-making powers for the assembly.
All 22 Welsh counties except one – Monmouthshire – backed change
Residents of Powys voted 21,072 to 19,730 in favour of a yes vote, a nine per cent swing to yes since the last referendum in 1997.
Some 2.2m people were eligible to vote.
The turnout was 35 per cent.
