Knighton vandal says sorry and offers to pay for repairs

A teenager who smashed a window of a house in a Mid Wales town today apologised to the owner and paid for repairs.
Constable Bill Cowan, of Knighton Police, said: “A 19-year-old local youth has today contacted the owner of the damaged window and after apologising has offered to pay for the cost of repairs.
“At around 9pm on Saturday, the front window of a house in Bridge Street was smashed and it is believed that a small group of youths, described as being drunk, were responsible.”
