Shropshire cannabis factories closed down

Tuesday 15th February 2011, 3:53PM GMT.

Three Shropshire cannabis factories were closed down by police after £100,000 of illegal drugs were discovered.

The haul of cannabis plants and resin were seized when officers swooped on an address in the Belvidere area of Shrewsbury, an outbuilding in Llynclys and a separate cannabis factory in Oswestry town centre.

Three men were arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis with intent to supply following the three raids and have been released on bail.
