Whitchurch teenager hit by attacker

A teenager was hit over the head by a masked attacker in Whitchurch, police said today.
Police have appealed for witnesses after the victim, a man in his late teens, suffered a serious head injury.
The victim was approached in Talbot Street and reportedly hit over the head with an object by another male, who had his face covered, at about 1am on Saturday. He required hospital treatment to a cut on his head.
Officers arrested a youth who is now on police bail.
