A Shropshire man hid 63 dismantled guns in his luggage on multiple trips to the UK where he then sold them, according to US court documents.

A new indictment, released yesterday, accuses ex-US Marine Steven Greenoe – who has a home in St George’s Street, Frankwell, Shrewsbury – of 50 federal charges related to the weapons.

Greenoe, 37, of North Carolina, is said to have travelled at least eight times to the UK in 2010.

A lawyer for Greenoe declined to comment.
