Two arrested over Oswestry Cambrian Railway burglary

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of burglary at the Cambrian Railway Society premises in Oswald Road, Oswestry.
They were arrested yesterday by police officers carrying out a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at a home in Croeswylan Crescent.
Seven officers went into the premises at 10am and recovered various items of property believed to be stolen. They also seized substances believed to be controlled drugs.
Two men, aged 26 and 27, were taken into custody on suspicion of burglary at the Cambrian Railway on January 22-23 and also on suspicion of possessing controlled class A and class C drugs.
The 27-year-old is also suspected of possessing drugs with intent to supply.
Both men were given police bail while further inquiries are carried out.
