Paramedic to rescue in Wrekin fall

An off-duty paramedic walking his dog came to the rescue when a man in his 60s fell while walking on The Wrekin.
The injured man, who has not been named, lost some teeth and suffered facial injuries in the incident and was airlifted to hospital.
It happened near the transmitter mast just before 3.20pm yesterday.
The Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham attended. The man was airlifted to Telford’s Princess Royal Hospital.
