Teenagers in Shrewsbury arson arrests will not face action
Tuesday 18th January 2011, 5:57PM GMT.
Four teenagers held on suspicion of being involved in arson attacks on a Shrewsbury housing estate will not face any charges, officials said today.
The four, aged 16 to 18, were arrested last year after a series of incidents on the town’s Herongate estate.
They have been released from police bail and none will face any further action at this stage.
Police said the investigation was ongoing and one man was awaiting court on a charge of arson with intent to endanger life.
