Man in court over Bridgnorth attempted murder

A 20 year old Shropshire man was due to appear in court today charged with attempted murder of a woman in Bridgnorth, believed to be his mother.
He was charged with attempted murder last night after an incident at his home in Innage Crescent at about 9pm on Tuesday.
The victim, named locally as Janet Blore, 54, was taken to New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton. Her condition is believed to be stable.
The man was appearing at Telford Magistrates Court.
