Adults and children flee suspected arson attack in Telford

Two adults and nine children were led to safety from a Telford home after a suspected arson attack.
Firefighters and police were sent to Hurleybrook Way in Leegomery at about 5.35am after the front door was set alight but the fire was out on their arrival.
Chris Ammonds, spokesman for Telford police, said: “It appears the cause may have been a piece of paper put through the letterbox but we are working with fire investigators and would appeal for anyone with information to call us.”
