Raid appeal by officers

A renewed appeal for witnesses was today issued by police trying to catch burglars who raided a Telford newsagents.
Detective Chief Inspector Alan Edwards, of Telford CID, appealed for help to catch the raiders following the incident at Martins Newsagent’s in Russell Square, Madeley, on Friday.
Police said a gang of raiders wearing balaclavas smashed their way into the shop at about 12.40am.
