Market Drayton man charged over Poppy Appeal theft

A 43-year-old Market Drayton man has been charged with stealing a Poppy Appeal collection box, police said today.

The charge relates to an alleged theft at a shop in Shropshire Street in Audlem on November 13.

Cheshire Police said the man was charged with theft at Crewe Magistrates Court on December 14 and bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates Court on January 7.
