Nice indicating from the car at the start of the video, got a little nudge for his trouble!

Personally i blame the car behind. He (she) should have been aware of what the car in front may do, and given enough room to brake if required.

Thats the problem with drivers in Shropshre they don’t know that a two lane roundabout means that two cars can go around a roundabout at the same time! The number of times I have been cut up by idiots that don’t know the highway code.

Bob,
The biggest problem I see on 2-lane roundabouts is the inability of some drivers to understand that if you’re turning right at one you need to take the right-hand lane not the left-hand one!
Every day I encounter clowns who feel the need to drive all the way around the outside of roundabouts, usually with nothing more than a cursory exit signal, and who in so doing completely disrupt the normal flow of traffic around the roundabout.
Of course – proper lane discipline around traffic islands is also destroyed by the too frequent occurence of traffic lights on islands.
Why can road planners not understand that as soon as you add traffic lights, the constant stop-start effectively destroys the function the island was supposed to have provided in the first place?
Instead of the norm of turning right and starting on the inside lane migrating outwards as the cars taking earlier exits effectively ‘peel off’, that move leftwards as progress is continued around the island is prevented by queuing traffic which has been baulked by the lights.

You’re right , Dave, he/she seems to have his/her hazard lights on permantly too…muppet.

I’d have put the car in front at fault – he appears to change lane without checking what’s already there, and without the benefit of a signal.
No idea why the chap at the back had his hazards on though.
Looking closely at the video I don’t think contact was made. I reckon the 4WD braked sharply and may have hit the kerb on the island in his efforts to avoid the car in front.

Aren’t these people driving on the right hand side of the road????
