Snowy footprints lead to Market Drayton arrest

Thursday 2nd December 2010, 11:29AM GMT.

Police arrested two men aged 20 and 21 and a 16-year-old boy in connection with an attempted lead theft in Stafford Street, Market Drayton after officers followed footprints left in the snow.

Officers were called at about 1.30am on Tuesday after the owner disturbed a group attempting to pull lead from the front of the property.

The men were cautioned and the youth released without charge.
