Shropshire school closures – December 2

Most schools in Shropshire are back to normal after the recent snowfall:

Ellesmere Primary School is closed due to a burst pipe. The nursery and Ducklings playgroup are also affected.

Other information:

Bishop’s Castle Community College is open, but there are no school buses.

Church Stretton Secondary School is open, but there are no Horrocks or Minsterley Motors buses. Worthen Travel and Craven Arms Coaches will pick up from main roads only.

Stiperstones Primary School is opening late at 10am, the bus will pick up an hour later than normal.

William Brookes School is open, but there are no buses from Acton Burnell.

Horrocks buses are not running services to Rushbury Primary or Clunbury Primary.

AT Browns buses are running a restricted service. They mainly run buses to Burton Borough School. The buses will not pick up from Meeson, Howell, and Oven’s Bottom. They will pick up Sambrook children at Stamford Bridge, at about 8am.
