Adieu Depardieu – Gerard reschedules Telford Aga visit

The French transport strike has forced legendary actor Gerard Depardieu to pull the plug on a planned visit to Shropshire tomorrow.
The 61-year-old was due to visit Aga’s foundry and factory in Coalbrookdale and Ketley, Telford, after falling in love with a cooker and fridge made by the company for his home in Paris.
But a spokeswoman for Aga said today the actor had been forced to cancel because he feared he would not be back in Paris in time for filming on Friday.
She said it was hoped the visit could be rescheduled for early December.
