Songs of Praise is returning to Shropshire

Songs of Praise will return to Shropshire for a festive service which will see residents donning Edwardian attire.

The BBC show will record hymns and music from the parish church of St Peter, in Cound, near Shrewsbury, on November 18 and 19.

The recordings will become part of two programmes with one to be broadcast for the fourth week of Advent on December 19 and the other to be broadcast for Lent on March 6 next year.
