Gang robs Telford teenager

A teenager was dragged into an alleyway and robbed of his phone by a gang as he walked with a friend in Telford.

The 16-year-old was walking with his friend along the Silkin Way in Stirchley at 4.15pm on Saturday when he was attacked.

Police said three youths, aged between 13 and 16, circled the pair before one of the gang grabbed the victim and dragged him down an alleyway on Stirchley Road.

The first suspect was described as a white male, aged about16 years old, 5ft 9ins tall, of stocky build, with dark coloured spiky hair and wearing a silver and dark hoodie and dark tracksuit bottoms; the second was a white male, also 16 years old, 5ft 10ins tall, of skinny build with short blond spiky hair wearing a grey tracksuit.

The third was also a white male, aged 13 or 14 years old, 5ft 2ins tall, of skinny build and in a black hoodie and a black tracksuit.
