Straw lorry overturns near Nesscliffe
Tuesday 21st September 2010, 11:19AM BST.
An articulated lorry carrying bales of straw overturned on a Shropshire road blocking the carriageway.
The incident happened after the lorry suffered a blow out on a road leading up to Felton Butler roundabout, near Nesscliffe, at about 6pm yesterday.
The driver of the lorry escaped unhurt and no ambulance was required.
A small diesel spill from the lorry’s main tank caused the road to be blocked for about an hour-and-a-half.
Firefighters cleared the scene by about 8pm.
