Airlift for A49 Onibury crash woman
Saturday 18th September 2010, 11:29AM BST.
Traffic was brought to a standstill after a crash between a motor home and two cars in Shropshire.
Lengthy queues developed on the A49 at Onibury after the collision yesterday at 5pm.
Chris Kowalik, a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman, said: “The most relatively serious casualty was one of the car drivers, a woman in her 50s who had sternum pain and who had been trapped in her car for some time.
“She was flown to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.”
