Suspicion over blaze at farm

Six tonnes of hay and straw went up in flames on farmland in Shropshire in a blaze which is being treated as suspicious.
Firefighters were called to a field off the B5476 between Whitchurch and Tilstock at about 8.40pm yesterday.
They used a hose reel jet to put the fire out. A spokesman for Shropshire Fire and Rescue said the fire was of “doubtful origin” and police were investigating.
