Fire at Kronospan factory in Chirk
Friday 10th September 2010, 11:29AM BST.
Firefighters from around North Wales were called to tackle a blaze at wood firm Kronospan’s factory in Chirk.
Crews from Chirk, Llangollen, Wrexham and Deeside were called just after 6.20am today.
Nobody was injured in the fire, which broke out in a production area at the plant. The fire was brought under control and crews were damping down by 9.30am.
