Young biker injured in fall at track

A nine-year-old boy was taken to hospital following an incident at a motocross track in one of a spate of accidents over the weekend.
The ambulance service was called to a motocross track in Sleap at about 2.40pm yesterday.
Ambulance spokeswoman Suzie Fothergill said: “Crews found two people who had fallen from their motorbikes.”
A 19-year-old man was treated at the sc ene for a broken leg and taken to the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford, she said. A nine-year-old boy was treated for back pain and also taken to the PRH.
Two people were also taken to hospital following a crash on the A5 at Nesscliffe at about 2.15pm yesterday.
Miss Fothergill said a van left the carriageway and was in a field. Crews treated a man believed to be in his 30s, for a minor head injury and a woman of similar age for back pain.They were taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
A further two people were taken to the hospital following a two-car collision at Bicton Heath at about 5.20pm yesterday.
