Telford man in court accused of attempted murder

A Telford man has appeared in court accused of attempted murder.
Ben Tonge, 22, of Muxton Lane, Muxton, is charged with attempting to murder Martin Davies, stealing a knife and a hat, burgling a home in Trench Road, Trench and assaulting a police officer, on Friday.
Telford Magistrates remanded Tonge in custody to appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on August 23.
