Pair treated for smoke inhalation

A man was treated for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out at his neighbour’s home in Albrighton.

He raised the alarm after spotting the blaze at the semi-detached home in Brooklands Road at about 9am. The lounge of the home, which did not have a smoke alarm, was severely damaged. The cause is still being investigated.

Meanwhile, a two-year-old boy was treated for the affects of breathing in smoke after a blaze in a wheelie bin outside his home in Stebbings, Sutton Hill.
