Telford Shopping Centre was evacuated today leaving shoppers outside after alarms were triggered – but it turned out to be a fire drill.
Shoppers, some of whom were halfway through having their hair done, were asked to head to the exits.
Tracy Hadley, marketing and events manager, said: “It was a test alarm that we have to do a few times every year to make sure the correct processes are in place.”
