Video journalist James Shaw got a shock when he saw – and filmed – an unidentified flying object over Shrewsbury last night. Also, a 73-year-old man had a lucky escape when his car rolled down a bank on the A41.

I saw this too, around 23:45 August 8th 2010
i was just setting up a telescope and out of the darkness i saw two of these orange orbs in the sky. Was not a plane because after observing for a while the two objects split off from eachother, just as a family member came back from getting some binoculars it vanished rite in front of our eyes.

I saw these same coloured lights on Monday evening 9 August at 9.55pm along with two other people, there were three orange type round lights moving slowly in unison in the sky above the Shrewsbury Train signal box area the lights then moved over towards the Castle before disappearing into the sky.
