Woman cut free from North Shropshire car accident
Tuesday 27th July 2010, 11:34AM BST.

A woman in her 50s had to be cut free from a car after it crashed with a tractor on a country lane in north Shropshire.
The woman was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital by land ambulance, although the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford also attended.
She was treated for neck and back pain following the smash on an unclassified road connecting the A53 and A442 near High Hatton, which happened just after 3.30pm yesterday.
Firefighters used cutting equipment to remove the roof of the saloon car.
Mark Smith, from Market Drayton fire station, said: “The female was not trapped in the car but because she was complaining of neck and back pain the paramedics asked for the roof to be removed.”
Claire Thomas, for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said the woman was a passenger in the car which suffered “minimal damage”. Nobody else was injured.
Fire crews from Wellington, Market Drayton and Shrewsbury went to the scene.
