Telford Lotto winner running out of time to collect £60,000
Saturday 24th July 2010, 10:22AM BST.
A Lotto winner in Telford has just over two weeks to come forward and claim a £60,000 prize – or the lot will go to charity.
A ticket bought in the borough matched five numbers and the bonus ball in the Wednesday draw on February 10 this year.
But despite continued appeals no-one has come forward to claim the cash.
If it remains unclaimed by 5.30pm on August 9, Camelot bosses said today, the prize money of £60,415 and interest generated on it would go into its Good Causes fund.
The winning Lotto numbers on February 10 were 5, 7, 15, 37, 42 and 44, with 3 the bonus ball.
National Lottery spokesman Patrick Lisoire said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.”
He added: “We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.
“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune!
“We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”
Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.

it was me that won,
but as i ran into a burning ashtray to save the life of a young innocent cigarette trapped in the blaze,
the ticket was destroyed in the fire.
(the cigarette was saved by the way)
so as i don’t have the ticket in it’s original condition (just a pile of ash),
i’m willing to accept a partial payment & look foward to my winnings.
