Broseley car victim ‘stable’

A 32-year-old man who suffered multiple injuries when struck by a car in Shropshire was “poorly but stable” in hospital today.

The man, who has not been named, is in Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

He was in collision with the car at the junction of Brandywell Road and Cockshutt Lane in Broseley, just after 3.30am on Sunday.

Police said three men were arrested in connection with the collision and released on bail. They have appealed for witnesses.
