Police to crack down on Shropshire’s rogue drivers

Rogue motorists using north Shropshire’s roads are to be targeted in a major crackdown spanning three counties, it emerged today.

The operation, which will see police work with neighbouring forces in Staffordshire and Cheshire, follows a string of complaints from residents across the area worried about speeding drivers putting lives at risk.

Police say they are prepared to “stop everything that moves” when the operation goes live in a bid to keep bad drivers off the road.

“stop everything that moves” very confrontational thing to say. I am all for booking people for no insurance tax ect but I hope this does not meen joe public is going to be stopped on a whim.

I agree with Andrew finch in post #1 – how to win friends and influence people – NOT.

One can only hope that the remark has been reported out of context.
