Mid Wales parents warned amid paedophiles fear
Monday 12th July 2010, 1:46PM BST.

Parents in Mid Wales have been receiving e-mail warnings about two possible paedophiles taking photos of children in the region.
A message, forwarded by e-mail, text and on Facebook, says a man and a woman have been travelling around the North Wales area, stopping to take photos of children in school playgrounds.
The e-mail has now been forwarded to parents in Mid Wales amid fears the pair could travel into the area.
The message reads: “Please be on the lookout for a white Vauxhall Combivan.
“A man and woman in their 50s are taking photographs of children at break-time in schools and are then trying to pick them up afterwards. They are paedophiles.”
Mother-of-two Corrine Lawler, of Welshpool, said she had received a text message with the warning.
She said: “It concerns you when you read things like this and I do worry that, if it is true, they could be heading into Mid Wales.”
Dyfed-Powys Police said it had received no complaints or sightings of the van, but he warned people to report any such instances to the force. Detective Chief Inspector Steve Williams, of North Wales Police, said: “We are alive to the fact that there have been reported sightings of a suspicious male in a white van in the vicinity of schools in the Denbighshire and Flintshire areas in June.”
