Organisers of tonight’s Shrewsbury Quarry 80s concert say they have so much music to cram in they have again had to bring forward the start time.

The event will now begin at 7pm, concert promoters said today.

Keith Louch, director of IML Concerts, said: “We did some rehearsals this week and we’ve got too much music. We’re finishing at 10.45pm so we can cram it all in.”

He said they had sold 6,000 tickets so far, which was down on last year’s 10,000.

The show will include Tony Hadley, ABC, Rick Astley, Go West, Howard Jones and Micha Paris.
