CCTV plan for Shropshire stations

A county-wide project to refurbish Shropshire railway stations and install CCTV to cut down on vandalism has been unveiled.

Cameras will be set up at Craven Arms, Church Stretton and on platforms at Gobowen at a cost of between £30,000 and £40,000 per station.

New vandal-proof Voyager shelters and electronic train information displays will be brought in at Ludlow, Craven Arms, Church Stretton, Wem, Whitchurch, Leominster and Gobowen.
