Cow rescued by firefighters

A cow had to be hoisted to safety by firefighters after it fell into a ditch near Shrewsbury.
The animal got into a spot of bother just before 8pm yesterday on farmland near Cruckton.
Firefighters managed to pull the stricken animal back to the safety of its field.
