We're going a bit "horsey" today with a visit to a south Shropshire stables. According to the caption on the front of this old postcard, this is "Little Stretton, Malt House Stables". There is no date, but it doesn't look as old as some pictures we use in this slot maybe the 1950s or 1960s. Of course, if you know better, drop us a line. Picture: Ray Farlow

Well, we live in those stables now! We found a sign in the garden for ‘Longmynd Stables’, a later name I think. The building used to be a cattle shed, innovative I believe for being wide enough for a tractor to drive through! The building is now two residences – a lovely place to live and a fantastic postcard!
