Schools in Powys to face review

Saturday 12th June 2010, 10:50AM BST.

All 13 secondary schools in Powys are facing review because of falling pupil numbers and severe financial pressure, council bosses have revealed.

Powys County Council has now published an in-depth report outlining the challenges and possible future options on all secondary and post-16 education services in the county.

It comes after a report, which was leaked to the public earlier this year, suggested a radical revamp of secondary education in Powys.
