A5 reopens in Shrewsbury after lorry fire drama

A busy dual carriageway between two major traffic islands in Shrewsbury has been reopened following a lorry fire which saw it shut for more than nine hours.
The A5 between the Preston and Emstrey islands was closed just after 5am today after a lorry carrying hay bales caught fire.
The road was reopened just before 2.30pm.
