Wem police station is on the move

Wem’s new police station will move into the town’s former district council headquarters in November, it has been revealed.
It has also been confirmed that work on the building will begin in the summer and the station will be fully operational in the new year.
West Mercia Police Authority wanted to relocate to Edinburgh House for efficiency savings and a more convenient location.
