M54 lanes shut for safety work

Lanes on both sides of Shropshire’s M54 have been shut down for three days while engineers carry out safety inspections.
The Highways Agency today began closing off one lane on either side of the motorway ahead of the work which will begin tomorrow from junctions one to seven.
Ray Prichard, from the Highways Agency, said the work would continue until Thursday.
