Shropshire lotto player has £60,000 to collect
Thursday 3rd June 2010, 8:01AM BST.
A £60,415 lotto prize remains unclaimed in Telford – almost four months after the numbers were drawn.
The winning ticket matched five numbers plus the bonus ball in the draw on February 10.
The ticket-holder only has until August 9 to claim the prize or it will be donated to charity. The winning Lotto numbers were 5, 7, 15, 37, 42, 44 and the bonus ball was 3.
Lotto organisers Camelot are urging people to check for the ticket.
National Lottery spokesman Patrick Lisoire said: “We are desperate to find this missing ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings.”
Deadline
He added that with June 21 the longest day, people had extra daylight to look for the ticket.
If no-one comes forward before the prize claim deadline, the money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to good causes.
It will add to the £24 billion already raised through sales of lottery tickets since the National Lottery was launched in November 1994. The National Lottery has given away more than £37 billion in prizes and created more than 2,400 millionaires or multi-millionaires since it launched in 1994.
With all National Lottery draws, players have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize.
Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000. For details on the lottery call 0845 912 5000 or visit www.national-lottery.co.uk
