Buyer sought for Bellstone Hotel

The administrators of a Shrewsbury hotel have urged interested parties to get in touch.
PKF Accountants and Business Advisors have been appointed as administrators of The Bellstone Hotel in the town.
And Ian Gould, who has been appointed as joint administrator along with Eddie Kerr, said they were hoping to hear from any interested parties.
The business is continuing to operate as normal at the moment, with the hope of finding a buyer by the busy summer period.
Mr Gould said: “The Bellstone, the popular hotel, bar and restaurant in the centre of Shrewsbury, continues to be open as usual, while a buyer is sought for the business.
Secure
“Currently, all staff have been retained and it is hoped that a buyer will be found in the coming months to secure the jobs for the future.
“The upcoming summer period and the famous Shrewsbury Flower Show is expected to generate a lot of interest in the Bellstone.
“This will be a great help in finding a buyer and securing the jobs of the staff for the future.
“In the meantime, residents and tourists alike will be pleased to hear it is ‘business as usual’ for the Bellstone and customers can expect the same quality service.”
Anybody interested in making an offer for the business should direct their inquiries to the property agents, Gavin Wright of Christie & Co, on (0121) 4561222.
