Woman cut from car crash near Shrewsbury
Thursday 27th May 2010, 12:11PM BST.
A woman had to be cut free from a vehicle after a crash on a road near Shrewsbury.
The woman was travelling in a Volkswagen Bora which was involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Astra on the A458 near Ford at around 10.15pm last night.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews used cutting equipment to release the woman who was taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
Police spokesman Richard Ewels said the male driver of the Astra was also injured.
