Boy injured in collision

An 11-year-old boy suffered a fractured skull after he was in collision with a car in Telford.

Cameron Barclay was taken to the Princess Royal Hospital after the incident involving a Ford Fiesta in Waterloo Road, Ketley, at about 3.20pm yesterday.

Paramedics put the boy in a neck brace and on a spinal board before taking him to hospital for treatment.

Today, the boy’s father Steven said he had been walking home from Hadley Learning Community when the accident happened.
