Welcome to election 2010 coverage

Good evening everybody and welcome to our election night special from everybody here at the Shropshire Star.
Strap yourself in – it could be a long night, but it’s sure to be gripping.
We’ve got reporters, photographers, video journalists and correspondents at all the counts in Shropshire and Montgomeryshire, all filing throughout the night to make sure you don’t miss a thing.
There’ll be live video from three of our counts and regular reports, pictures and updates from all of them.
If you want to set your alarms here’s an idea of the times we are expecting the local results:
Telford: 1am
Montgomery: 2am
North Shropshire: 2am
Shrewsbury and Atcham: 2.30am
Wrekin: 4am
Ludlow: 5am.
First big news at 10am will be the exit polls and the first real sense of just how close this is going to be.
Hold on to your hats, it could be tight.
And don’t forget, we’ve got a special edition of the paper out at breakfast time, so make sure you get your copy bright and early.
