Funding joy for Market Drayton centre

A north Shropshire venue has clinched more than £200,000 in funding which will bring a major refurbishment project to fruition after more than a decade.
The Festival Drayton Centre in Market Drayton has been awarded £204,000 by Advantage West Midlands through the Rural Development Programme for England.
The funds will be used to build a multi-purpose space due to huge demand from community groups. It is hoped work would get under way in mid June.
