County chef’s Menu victory

A Ludlow chef has been named best in the Midlands by a BBC2 programme.
Michelin-starred Will Holland, head chef at La Becasse, in Ludlow’s Corve Street, defeated the twin Michelin-starred Daniel Clifford, from Midsummer House, in Cambridge, in last night’s Great British Menu.
Mr Holland now has a chance to impress judges once more and, if successful, may cook for Prince Charles.
