Hall used for sexy shoots

A community hall in a sleepy Shropshire village was used by a “professional” dominatrix to shoot sexy films, it was revealed today.

Mistress Tia, alias Telford woman Sophie Allen, 27, invited “slaves” to Waters Upton Village Hall, near Wellington, to film kinky scenes for her website, which members pay £20 a month to access.

She booked the hall on five occasions this year from 11am to 5pm on Saturdays, charging participants £150 an hour and making up to £900 a day.

Members of the village hall management committee were shocked to discover what the hall was being used for when presented with evidence by the Shropshire Star.

Chairman Katrina Baker said it had been officially hired by Allen’s business partner Ken Barker, from Stirchley, for “auditions”.

She said the pair had been barred from using the hall again and added it had been “thoroughly cleansed”.

But Miss Allen today insisted she was merely running a business and was doing nothing wrong.

She said: “I use it because I live in the area and it is a good space. We didn’t misinform anyone about what we were using the hall for, we always said it was for a photoshoot.

“I do photoshoots every weekend all over the country and they are good business.

“I am not ashamed of what I do – I run a business at the end of the day.”

Mrs Baker said she would never have allowed the pair to rent out the hall if she had known what they would be using it for.

“We are disappointed that someone would book a hall without informing us of the actual purpose,” she said.

“I have since issued an instruction that we are to take no more bookings from them and we will be carrying out ‘spot checks’ on users in the future to ensure our hall is not being used inappropriately.

“I apologise to residents for any embarrassment or inconvenience this may have caused. No-one is more sorry than me for being deceived in this way.”
